ruger scope rings

the medium rings fit perfectly on my ruger no 1 , the only complaint is having to buy the rings seperately. they should come as a pair. i understand that large bell shaped scopes may require different heights but the majority will only require one.

Ruger Rings askew

When I attempted to set my scope in the Rings the upper ring was distorted out of shape at the base where top sits on the bottom. I set the top rings on a hard surface and tappend lightly on the middle and was abe to bow them open. I did not think that I would get this poor quality control from ruger but now that it fits it's fine although my scope suffered from some scratches.

Good mounting system, great product. The Ruger scope mounting system has proven itself over decades of use at this point. The rings are strong, simple to use, and good return to zero for remounting a scope.
