I have a Ruger Mark IV Hunter which is stainless. I searched the web extensively trying to find a silver scope adaptor, but the only ones I could find were black. I saw this on Optics Planet, but it said it would work on the Mark I, II, and III, but it did not mention the Mark IV. I took a chance and ordered it on s guess it would work on the Mark IV knowing there would not be a problem if I had to return it to Optics Planet (they would even pay the return shipping’j. The adaptor lined up perfectly on the Mark IV, installed easily, came with the correct size mounting screws (which is critical on the Mark IV), and works as required. It must have been manufactured by Ruger because it had the Ruger emblem embosed on it. Optics Planet should modify their description to include the Mark IV.
