Most excellent gun holder
I purchased this holder and mounted it to the floorboard of my Chevy truck on the Transmission Hump. Angled it back toward the seat and bingo! This thing is everything it was supposed to be, received the mount within 4 days and used it that Friday! One recommendation is to use an additional sub-floor plate to protect your carpet or floor covering material due to the design of the provided base and sharpness of the edges. I fabricated one. I would definitely recommend this product, I'm going to order another one for my Jeep!
Perfect for my purposes
Well-built and sturdy. I mounted the bottom to a finished oak plywood base and use this in my bedroom to have quick and ready access to two loaded ARs. While the entire set-up is not visible unless one knows where to look, the mount is attractive enough to have out in the open.

Excellent gun holder for sporting calys
I purchased this product to mount in the front floor board in my EZGO Express S4 cart for Sporting clays. The base plate mounted well in the front floor of the cart with 2 of the mounting bolts engaging the support bracing below. This made it very sturdy. The removable thumb screws for the rack make it easy to remove when using the cart for camping or other activities. The tilt feature of the rack allows it to be tilted back so it and the guns are not in the way of driver or passenger. It holds 2 shotguns very well and quite securely. I would highly recommend this product for anyone needing to secure rifles or shotguns for hunting or sport shooting.
