Decent cheap gas block.
This is a good gas block for the price. I like the clamp on style better than set screw versions, and this one is a good one. The screws are hex and the hex drive wasn’t cut in the center of the head. The threads out the other side could be machined a little cleaner but overall I think it’s a good one.
easy install
I can find nothing wrong or lacking in this gas block.
I like the “clamp on” feature, and particularly like the angle of the attachment screws. The block is very small and easy to work around when installing a free float hand guard.
I am using it on a 300BLK carbine length system, and Trybe Defense barrel. The upper is intended to be used for hunting, and plinking.
If building a self defense type gun, I would not use this gas block for fear of it coming loose at a critical time. For a defensive weapon, I would use a mil-spec pinned gas block.

Good Quality
Fit and quality were outstanding, used it for a light weight AR-15 build. No issues upon test fire and then dumping 20 rounds as fast as possible through the rifle. The gas system is the backbone of the rifle. Will definitely purchase again.

It’s simple to put on just requires the right tools an patients an it will pay off but over all it’s on lined up an looks a lot better but you call get all the tools you need to get the job done with OpticsPlanet that has what you need
