Safariland 074 Series Magazine Holders
I've been competing in USPSA for a few years and recently started competing in IDPA. Not surprisingly, some of my USPSA equipment didn't pass muster with IDPA rules.
In looking for substitues, I found the 074 series pouches - they're pretty slick for daily use, IDPA, and perhaps even USPSA.
See, they don't mount directly to the belt - instead the paddle allows you to position them almost anywhere (except directly over a belt loop). This is a real win when the position of the belt loops will dictate where the carrier can actual sit. Since uniformity of placement aids consistency, it is i...

Clip and go
Great magazine holder, clips on and off easily while I'm conceal carrying or at the range drilling. The paddle is holding well and hasn't loosened from daily and range use. Good mag holder for the price.

Another Solid Safariland Product
As most Safariland products are, the single magazine pouch is well made and fits securely on my belt. Solid contruction and lightweight, the pouch is easy to maintain, holding up to use for years. It is easy to clean as well. Over all, a solid product.

Safariland 074 Concealment Magazine Paddle Holder
I own many Safariland components; pouches, holsters etc.
Can't go wrong with them, they understand the need and the requirements on all, you can tell by the thoughtfulness put into their products.
You can experiment and purchase other stuff but in the end it is still tough to beat them period

Excellent for IDPA and Concealment!
The safariland 074 concealment magazine paddle holders are probably the best single magazine pouches on the market for both concealed carry and IDPA. They are IDPA legal, and they hold the magazine close to the body. Retention is solid and draw is smooth. I have the 074 for Glock, Sig, and 1911 magazines, and they perform beyond excellent.

Fantastic Mag Holder
I ordered the left handed one because the holder is designed to face forward. Of course the one for a left handed shooter worn on the left side instead of the right side corrected this issue.

Secure, fast, and flexible
I've been carrying with this for about a year. The paddle attachment is very secure worn on a 1.5" belt, but can be taken off quickly without removing the belt. The paddle has a hole in the center-- I think to make it more flexible. Anyway, the plastic cracked on one side, but as its still held by leather, this hasn't affected the function at all. It did take a few weeks to wear in to the point where it was comfortable.
The adjustable tension stays where it's set, and the open front allows good indexing. Highly recommended.
Pros: Durable, inexpensive, great design
Cons: none

Great mag holster
This is an excellent, low profile, no frills mag holder. It is adjustable to fit pretty much any double stack mag out there, and to whatever retention you like. The material (similar to kydex) seems strong and durable. The paddle is strong and like most safari products is coated on the belt side with suede so it doesn't slip around on your belt.
As an added bonus, this holder WILL fit thin belts (such as nylon web belts) up to 1.75" wide with no problems, even though it is only listed as fitting 1.5" belts. Thicker 1.75" belts made out of heavy leather or double sewn material may pose problems.
Overall, I am very, very pleased with this holder. I would recommend it over Fobus or other rigid type holders that are nonadjustable any day of the week. 10/10.
Pros: Adjustable, sturdy, low profile
Cons: None
