Most Helpful Positive Review Secure option that provides body armor clearance
QLS fork and receiver plate move holster about 4-5mm outboard of whatever mounting platform you are using. Not bothersome on thigh mounted plate, but affects concealed carry with paddle. DFA Thigh plate is a HUGE improvement over its' 2 strap predecessor. Stays put when on the move. Pros: secure, well-made, QLS provides versatility Cons: No significant cons noted

Not sure what happened

My dept and I personally run all safariland products. Not sure if I got a bad batch but this plastic is all weak as get up. Still contemplating whether to get an exchange or not.

Safariland is always amazing. The qls locking system allows me to use multiple holsters with this reciever plate
Pros:

  • Able to attach to multiple platforms
  • qls reciever works with any locking fork
Cons:
  • can bunch up if you crouch
Best Used for:
  • duty carry
  • compeition
  • LARP

rides well

The receiver plate works great for me. I’m 6’ so not the tallest but not the shortest. It places my holster higher than my old one. It still clears the plate carrier setup too. The leg strap keeps it very secure too. I didn’t think I’d like the safariland fork setup as much as I did. However after using this, I may be picking up a few more holsters for it.

Great leg holster

I have both kinds of Safariland drop leg holsters and this by far is my favorite. I am more of a fan of the mid-drop leg holster than the full. Easier access to the draw, I don’t have to lean over to access my firearm. The versatility of the qls is unbeatable.
