i used this product in the Marine Corps., during deployments to Iraq during combat operations and loved it. The durability and comfort and ease of draw was outstanding. I now work for a training group and had to have the same standards for my gear. The Safariland holster is top notch. J.Kyle

Great Fit, Easy to adjust
I'm a beginner with firearms and just learning to draw from a holster, I can say that I love the color. The color matches Magpul Dark Earth perfectly and is a little darker than Desert Tan.
Once I had it adjusted for my height, I practiced drawing for a bit as recommended in the instruction manual and felt a bit more confident using it at the range or for fun during airsoft ops. The suede lining ensures a snug fit with any railed or non railed 1911. So snug in fact that it needs to be broken in/worn down before you can re holster effectively. On the 1911, the pistol needs to be cocked in order for the SLS to engage properly. The straps are more comfortable than the strap my Serpa drop leg too, but each to their own.
