I love this holster. I upgraded from a Safariland model 200 which has a thumb-break and is considered a level one holster. This holster gives me peace of mind because cops and military personnel use this holster, it's a level 2 so I figure if it's good enough for them it will be good enough for me. I love the satisfying "thwock" sound it makes when the hood locks in place. The draw is easy and intuitive. I got the STX finish this time so we will see how it holds up against scratches. The holster is solidly built so no one is going to be able to yank or strong arm the pistol out of the holster. It's the correct balance, between security and functionality, where you don't have to perform some complex serious of motions or exercise an insane amount of finger dexterity to operate, yet the pistol is expertly retained. If you're a serious open carrier like myself I highly suggest this holster.
