I bought this holster for my M&P9 with Surefire X300 light mounted. Safariland is just about the only company that has a tactical thigh holster that will accommodate this setup. The pistol and light lock in with no play because of the ALS and rotating hood, but both systems are easy and intuitive to release allowing for a very quick presentation. The suede like lining of the inside of the holster really helps to reduce holster wear. After several hundred draws my M&P shows no holster wear at all. The only thing I have to say in a negative light is really more of a nitpick than any sort of real complaint. The Safariland FDE is quite a bit different than most others companies idea of FDE.
Pros: Great retention, very fast draw
Cons: FDE color is considerably different than most FDEs
