I love ALS holsters. It is a perfect set-up for my Kimber 1911. I have one for my concealed carry, this thigh holster, and a chest holster for my rig. I used to have Blackhawk! Serpa holsters. They are a joke and cause malfunction so easily due to the placement of the release lever. I dumped them.
However, Safariland was too cautious to add the thumb release lever protector on ALS holster. It becomes more of hindrance than help. Other operators cut off theirs as well.
Pros: The best retention holster in the market
Cons: I have to cut off the stupid thumb lever protector
