I recently switched from the Blackhawk SERPA to the Safariland ALS for my issue Sig P-229R, and I have to say that this holster is much more comfortable to wear. Especially when my work days are 11-12 hours long! The only major knock I had against the SERPA was that it does not conceal well most of the time. The Safariland ALS has solved that issue! I have recommended and will continue to recommend this holster!
Pros: Prints less, a flatter profile; weight of gun is distributed better.
Cons: Sits a little low on the waistline
