I've been using this holster for off-duty concealed carry for about a month now. Downsides: seems a bit bulky and low riding & therefore (with a basketweave or carbon finish) may be better suited as a duty holster. More importantly: the security mechanism relies on the user to FIRST activate the thumb switch, THEN pull up on the grip to clear it from the holster. Sounds obvious, right? However, IF in a critical situation an inexperienced user tries to first PULL UP on the weapon BEFORE he hits the thumb release, not only will the weapon not come out of the holster (normal) but the release button will not be able to be activated. The only remedy is to push the weapon back into place (as there is a very small amount of 'give' when it's locked in), push the thumb release again, and then draw the weapon as you would normally.
