STX finish better way to go
The male adapter on the carrier cracked after the radio got hung up on the door frame as I was getting in. I should have been more careful but it would have been nice to see it can take some abuse. I question whether or not someone can rip it off now.
The baskeweave finish is showing extreme signs of wear on the bottom after less than a month of use on patrol. At this rate it will look too bad to keep on my duty belt in 6 months. I would recommend getting the STX finish.
The carrier itself is extremely comfortable and easy to use. Just disappointed with the things I stated above
