Great mag pouch, especially if you are using the Safariland ELS system. This is a pouch only, so you'll need a way to attach it to your belt or gear.
Pros: Ambidextrous and allows for the mags to be carried bullets forward or backwards.
Cons: Does not include the mount to attach to belt or gear.

This specific mag carrier does not come with a belt clip, disregard the title description "NEW BELT LOOP SYSTEM". This mag carrier has a pretty good retention system that does not let the mag float around, while allowing a smooth draw. This mag carrier should function just fine as an attachment on a leg rig.

However, I purchased this ar15 mag carrier with the belt clip so I can carry an extra mag on my waist belt without wearing a load bearing vest. This product was a great idea, but poorly initiated. The belt clip floats around quite freely on your belt. With the weight of a loaded magazine, the carrier does not make the magazine sit still or straight when mounted on your belt. I am quite disappointed and probably won't be using this at all. Back to the load bearing vest...
