The carrier itself is ok but does not come with the ELS female attachment
I was happy with the actual mag pouch but was very unhappy with the fact that it did not come with the ELS female attachment required to secure this mag carrier to anything. It was not clearly marked and as I can remember it was not in the description at all. If I would have seen that it did not come with the full ELS part of the kit I would have ordered it as I recently did. to add salt to injury you can only buy the full buckle kit online even though you only need the female part. It is not really any big deal as it costs are not much but it is a pain in the backside.

Yes, it works great. Was disappointed. It only comes with a male attachment clip no way to attach it to your duty belt. I had to order another attachment clip to get it to attached to my duty belt. I wish it was more clear in the description..

- It does not come with a way to attach it to your duty belt out of the box. You have to order another part.

versitile mag pouch!
The Safariland 774 Rifle Mag Pouch, fits AR-10, M 1-A, M-14 and many 12 gauge shot gun magazines. They are typical Safariland quality, and should be very durable, with a long service life. Be aware that they do not come with belt clips or attachment devices, which you will need to purchase separately, but they are pre-drilled for a number of popular belt clip options.

- Fit mags for several different fire arms
- compatable with many gun belts and belt clips
- I hear that Safariland has a good warranty, but I have never had to use it in 40 years of competion shooting!
Cons:
- Wish that they came with a belt loop attachment
Best Used for:
- anytime you want to carry extra magazines on your belt.
- could be used to hold mags in a shooting box or on a tree stand.
