5187 for Glock 34/35 with Surefire x300
This is a pretty good holster, and ccw option for a full size Glock 34 or Glock 35 with a surefire x300 light on it. Retention is adjustable by a turnable tension device at the nose of the holster and another one behind the light.
Here is the catch. You have to use a very rigid belt that does not flex. The liner inside of the holster creates friction and grabs the gun, then the nose of the holster comes up as the whole holster cants creating more friction, literally seizing your gun in the holster. Even with the retention adjustment backed all the way out this can happen. Replacing the belt loop attachment with a more rigid one, and using a blade-tech ccw or other rigid belt helps. Removing the liner from inside the holster on the outer most side also solves the problem. If you want to take the time to try to "break it in" then I recommend using some leather silicon lubricant in the liner and working the gun in and out.
Once you get that little problems solved, and the holster broke in, its a great holster. For open or concealed carrying a full size gun. I would not recommend this as a law enforcement duty holster, however if your a law enforcement officer and shoot IDPA, its an excellent solution to use your duty sidearm for the sport. IDPA currently does not allow the use of lights attached to guns, however law enforcement officers are exempt from this rule in the sport. Its a great option. I have to admit, the price on this holster is very attractive, e...
