Great holster but could be a bit better - Safariland Open Class Holster

I love the Safariland 014 holster. I am running this holster with my Sig P226 Legion SAO in limited and now with my custom 1911 in Open division for steel challenge matches. I love the adjustability of this holster and the fact that it is mostly metal. It is very ridged and sturdy, locks down tight and unless you slam in to a wall full tilt in a USPSA match, it won't budge on you. My only gripe is the instructions. My 1911 holster came with two plastic strips I have no idea what are for and no where in the instructions does it show them. I'm assuming it's either for different guns or to tighten up the minimal slop in the holster. Either way, it runs, looks good and is very sturdy. Love them and will continue to use them for years to come.
