I have a small waist and was looking for ways to make more room on my belt. I was probably the first person in my department to use these and the trend has started to catch on. By using this mag pouch, I save about 2 inches of space from the standard mag pouch which helps me keep my back of belt more clear. Other than saving space, it is a lot faster and easier to remove mags during reloads. There is a built in retention bolt so the magazines don't fall out. Highly recommended.
