Practical and effective
The QLS system is awesome, I change platforms routinely depending on where I carry my duty pistol. With the QLS I can rapidly switch from a paddle holster to a drop leg or duty belt to vest mount. My only beef with the QLS system is that there isn’t a horizontal mount for the MOLLE system.

Still the best QD
I recently bought this QD pair to add the ability to swap in a different holster/gun combo on my duty belt. It works seamlessly with the QLS kit I purchased from Safariland several years ago. Still very high quality and the first one has taken a real beating and never had an issue.

Happy happy
This is the best thing ever . I don’t have to take off my belt every time I sit down or get in a car . I just detach the hoster and till have the belt on with all my gear. Love it and recommended it to all my friends.

QLS system
Great for those that use the same belt and have other guns to keep draw consistent, as long it’s a safariland holster. With duty holster, seems to make draw a little better that with the standard belt mount

Good safe product
This quick locking system is better than the regular one as it has a higher level of retention. It’s harder to separate the clips but that is the point as you don’t want to lose your gun in a struggle... I noticed the two clips have minimal play but not so much as to be very noticeable. Good product.

QLS clips on Safariland 014 holster
They may work great on any holster other than the Safariland 014 open class holster that I have. There is no way to mate this clip to this holster at all. Safariland markets this clip for use with holsters due to the extra weight of a handgun as opposed to magazine pouches. They do however make an adapter to mount the 014 holster to an ELS clip for an additional $55.00. So is the QLS clip really needed if the ELS will suffice? I guess having to spend an additional $55.00 more than I planned on will answer that question.

Good For Holsters
so this QLS system will fit mostly all of the Safariland holsters. now here is the best part, trying to release the paddle from its holder is a pain!!! if you look closely their are two plastic nubs on either side of the bottom part of the holder. this truly locks in the paddle and no longer makes it easy to switch out. But its great for keeping it secure.

QLS poor attachment
The QLS does not fit the ELS 032 competition gun belt. An adapter has to be fabricated or holes drilled in your new gun belt. A call to Safariland will verify this complaint. The Safariland rep said this is a common complaint and have done nothing to address the problem. The product advertisement states that it fits ELS belts. If you are capable of making an adapter then buy.

Same thing as ELS but larger and more sturdy.
I originally had my SL holster mounted directly to the belt of my 3 gun rig but wanted to be able to easily remove the holster for stages that don't have pistol. Mount is large and securely holds my pistol in place during the match. The pattern for the QLS is larger than the ELS system but basically the same thing.
