Willie T's Review of Sako Optilock Rings
I purchased a new Tikka for my daughter this deer season even though it came with base and rings I elected to use the Optilock rings. When it comes to mounting scopes I am pretty anal regarding the material due to the importance. The original rings were made of aircraft aluminum (I think) I went with these because they are all steel and very well made. The Copolymer rings that come with it for around the scope was a bonus in my opinion to protect the scope. I liked the way they are mounted to the base from underneath and easy to secure. I would recommend you buy the scope first so you know the diameter of the outside adjective to select the correct size. I went with a Nikon Prostaff 3X9 BDC 40MM and needed extra low rings. Once you understand the sizing for the rings it is a snap. I got the stainless steel ones to go with a stainless barrel and silver scope they are not a perfect match but they are solid and well made (the anal coming out).
