Decent for the Money
While the Sampson folding sights are decent quality for the money, I would recommend spending a few more dollars and purchasing the Troy folding iron sights. The folding action of the Sampson sights is ‘gravely’ at best, and when the sights are in the down-position there is not a positive lock, however, when the sights are in the upright position they maintain a solid lock. The overall finish is pretty nice, and the front post and rear aperture sights adjustments work well. Overall, and for the price, decent sights.

Good basic flip up sight
This is a basic solid backup sight being used on an 9mm AR type pistol build, I am on a budget so cost was a factor . However I was not willing to compromise on quality just features. This fit the bill and was available immediately, other more expensive backup sights were all back ordered due to the Covid 19 pandemic and its impact on supply chains so I considered myself lucky.
