Great addition to my 1st generation shield. - Samson Smith & Wesson M&P9/M&P40 Shield Compact Magwell

This is exactly what I was looking for. Gives just enough extra grip to give my pinky finger something to rest on other than the magazine. And with the grip extended,the firearm fits in my hand more consistently. Because I do run Pearce +2 magazine extensions on the factory 8 round magazines, I knew from the start that the magwell might not work with my setup. After dry fitting everything and seeing where the magazine was binding, I did have to do a little modification for the magazines to release properly. Nothing that a file couldn't fix. Now the magazines drop smooth and are a bit easier to insert. Very happy with this purchase. Definitely would recommend.
