Fits my 16" midlength upper with front sight post. I cannot review durability or ability to hold zero for lasers because i just installed it. First impressions is that it seems fairly lightweight and sturdy. No slop in handguard after tightening the 4 handguard bolts i did use loctite because i have no plans to remove it. Originally i wanted the centurion midlength front sight post compatible handguard but it was out if stock so i purchased this samson. I am pleased with this handguard also nearly $100 cheaper than the centurion and i do like how it seems the side rails extend further down than the centurion in comparison. the centurion has more qd sling swivel points and build quality could possibly be better but i am not certain. Overall i like this handguard and would recommend it.
