Savage 110 trigger guard

Drop ship from optics planet took over a month. Listing said black matte stainless steel,it's aluminum. I'm Ok with that how ever. Lighter. Every savage should have had this trigger guard new. Plastic one would not take 30in lbs torque causing my 7mm mag to be "loose" in bedding. Never stayed tight and deformed plastic guard. Fit and finish were good on new one and now both actions screws are holding at 42in lbs.

Fits my HS Precision Stock perfectly! Hade of aluminum, matt finish.

I am building a rifle with Savage action and an HS Precision stock, and was needing a trigger guard. I contacted HS Precision and they said a stock OEM trigger guard for a Savage stock will work, and this one is a Boyds brand, and it fits. Also, this is made of aluminum, and I wanted a silver colored one, and this turned out to be aluminum. So it fits, looks good with my stainless Shilen barrel, and is lighter in weight than a stainless version.

  • Fits any stock or HS Precision stock
  • non-glossy matt finish
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Any stock that takes an OEM or original trigger guard

Metal trigger guard

I like to torque my action screws the same every time and that’s impossible with the factory plastic trigger guard. This is a big improvement. I definitely recommend this upgrade. I’m glad optics planet carries these.

Savage Axis trigger guard

Not sure why anyone would make a plastic trigger guard for a rifle, but this metal replacement is a must have for the Axis. Very easy to install. Great product. OpticsPlanet was fantastic. Easy to order, fast shipping. No issues. Will definitely buy from them again
