For the money, can’t beat it
I have some higher end scopes than this but for the money it’s hard to get the quality for the money! If I had to compare it I would say it’s on the level of a Swarovski z6 but for a hunting rifle you will not be disappointed!!
Pros:
- Clairity
- light gathering quality
Cons:
- None especially at price point
Best Used for:
- hunting
Would recommend: Yes
Great sturdy long range hunting scope.
Schmidt Bender scopes are my go to brand for heavy recoil hunting rifles such as those I use for elk and larger African game. This 4-16x50 is on my 325 WSM and is perfect. Zeroed at 100 yards, first mildot is 300, second about 450 yards. If I have time for the shot, the top turret can be used to dial. The only downside is the scope is a bit long and thus a couple of extra ounces. But, that’s the trade-off for a quality robust unit that holds zero under tough conditions and hard use in challenging environments.
Pros:
- Sturdy, clear glass, mildot or turret
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Heavy recoil hunting rifles, long range.
