Great feel in the hand. Very sturdy blade, ready for anything thrown at it. Highly recommended addition to any go bag. The addition of the fire starter and sharpening stone just make the deal sweeter.

Schrade has done it again another great product. I have used the regular machete's in the past but I have never used the ultimate machete until I got my hands on the Schbolo machete. This thing is BIG. I went out yesterday to get my deer blind shooting lanes cleared out and I brought both my old machete and my new schbolo and after the first swing I knew right then I had the best machete I could ever get. I was cutting 1" thick limbs with 1 swing and I wasn't swinging that hard either. I had a tree fall down right where I killed my biggest buck ever last year and I had to clear it out of my way and I did all the clearing with this schbolo machete. I was able to cut through 6" thick branches using the same method as you'd use an axe and it works great. I really put this schbolo through a workout and it never backed down. It's still sharp and begging for more. My old machete would've never been able to handle what I put this through. My hands felt great on the handle and never slipped. The case that comes with this has a back strap and I love it. The diamond sharpening stone is great and I like the fire starter it all fits in its own pocket. I highly recommend this.
