koool knife
This is a really cool dagger. High quality. Feels reaaly good in your hand. Buy one know.
Thoroughly Impressed
Honestly, for the price of this push dagger when I bought it at $28, I am beyond satisfied. The blade is evenly sharpened, clean, and the handle is ergonomically engineered with a full tang/fixed feel. I am confident it will hold up to the demands of a defense situation. I am most impressed with the sheath and the modular tek-lok style clip that can be canted anywhere from 0-360° and set just how you want it. Perfect for a battle belt, doable with a regular belt, may run into some issues when running with no belt but I modified mine to work with a regular IWB holster clip I had laying around as I bought this to be carried with clothes or outfits I wouldn't ordinarily be running a belt with. Definitely going to purchase another one though to run on my battle belt.
Pros:
- Sturdy
- Modular
- bargain
Cons:
- Wish the blade was about an inch and a half shorter
Best Used for:
- Self defense
Would recommend: Yes

Pros outweigh the Cons
I've bought three of these one the course of two years. This blade has one purpose and its for self defense. You literally cant do anything else with it due to the design. They have made some changes to the blade steel, rubber material of the handle as well as the sheath that may be a deal breaker for some and at best, "good enough" for others. The first Shrade I purchased comprised of a different steel than the last two as well as the softness of the rubber handle. The first rubber handle felt like a Hogue rubber grip for a revolver. The new composite feels a bit cheaper and harder. More like a mix of a hard plastic and rubber. The old sheath retention was metal (aluminum maybe) and was designed for inside the waistband, but the new sheaths are outside the belt, rotary and a plastic clasp. I hate the new sheaths. Also, the new sheaths are a cheaper plastic. None of them were ever kydex material. For me, sheaths designed for knives make-or-break my decision to purchase, but thanks to Ulticlips, I can change all of the renting designs to IWB appendix carry. In all, I give these a 4/5 because of inconsistency with product. For the purpose of self defense, I can't pick a better bade than the dagger design. It cant be taken away from you and deployment and use is less tiring than a traditional fixed. With some weekly training, deploying this knife in a crucial moment will allow you both surprise and effectiveness in deterring any sized human in your personal space. Stay chiseled...
