Terrible Design

The design of this knife is not only terribly impractical but also dangerous!
The blade deployment switch is located at the rear end of the handle, meaning the knife must be held upside down in order to deploy the blade.
The blade deployment switch also travels the entire length of the handle along a track. You will have to keep your fingers clear of this track or the switch will painfully bite your fingers and prevent the blade from fully deploying.
All in all, and absolutely terrible design that I would not recommend to anyone!

Schrade Viper OTF

Came very sharpe and zero wobble. Safety and action make it a little difficult to open with one hand. I have larger hands so I am able to open with one hand, however I would consider a double action or smaller knife if you have smaller hands.

The Schrade Viper is an amazing knife. It feels well put together, it is a little on the heavy side which I like. The spring that helps deploid the blade feels strong too. I loved it. Thank you Optics Planet.

Backup knife

Got this knife to put in my emergency bag , tucks in bag nicely and will fit in pocket of cargo pant's with no problem . Strong spring and solid lock , will make a good knife for backup if something happens to large belt knife .

Quick release blade

Nice knife with a very explosive spring action. Has a safety button to protect the user from accidental discharge of the sharp blade. Overall good quality but a little too heavy. Strong material and good looking.
