Inexpensive protection for expensive optics
It fits perfect and does a great job protecting the EOtech from abrasion and dust/dirt.

ScpopeCoat is a well made product, easy and quick to put on.If you are carrying it in a very dusty environment you may get some infiltration.

I bought this to keep the dust off my sight during storage. It fits snugly, but is easy to remove.
I would not want this cover to remain attached to my gun - I don't think you'd want something flopping around, possibly getting in the way. It's easy to drop in a pocket after you remove it.
Scope Coat also makes covers that go over the muzzle - I will be getting one of those, too.
BTW, the packaging states that model also works on the EOTech 517 (which mine is).

Does what it says
Fits the sight well, keeps dust and crap off of the lens. Fits snug, but not tight. I don't think it would be tight enough for extensive field use, but its great for protection around home and range.
