Camping, hunting, and rural homesteads - Seek Thermal RevealPRO Thermal Image Camera

Growing up in a densely forested area means lots of critters and creatures come around after the Sun sets. Same often goes for camping...bumps in the night and such. Even the daytime doesn't always shine light on whether or not there is someone or something nearby. Seek Thermal nailed it when they chose to name this product "Reveal." I have used it outside every night and several times inside during the day. The thermal sensor and built in view screen solved two major problems we had = source of a hidden leak and areas where the water was settling / draing towards underneath the carpet. This thing is so sensitive that I can see my footprints as I walk around at night (they stay visible for a minute or two when it's cold outside). If you drop something in total darkness you can easily find it due to the heat imparted to it from your hand. You can follow a blood trail that is several minutes old which is very useful when hunting...and you can see where the critter finally laid to rest even when you are more than several hundred yards away (yes, yards away)! The built in flashlight was a brilliant idea and can be used with or without having to turn on the unit's thermal imager. Plus, it has adjustability for the High (I use 85%) and low (13% is brighter than my 40 lumen headlamp). Battery power drains more quickly than expected but an external battery pack fixes that issue if you need an hour each night for several nights. The built in viewer is sometimes almost HD clear but also can get rather grainy when scanning large areas. I strongly recommend the Reveal Pro for anyone who is outdoor oriented or safety conscious because this unit has many advantages over night vision. In fact, the "Black Hot" setting is sometimes identical to a black/white CMOS and other NV security cameras. The Reveal Pro in hand means almost nothing stays hidden from sight. You can even see pipes and wall studs through shingles and plywood!
