Camping, Hunting, and Rural Homesteads
Growing up in a densely forested area means lots of critters and creatures come around after the Sun sets. Same often goes for camping...bumps in the night and such. Even the daytime doesn't always shine light on whether or not there is someone or something nearby. Seek Thermal nailed it when they chose to name this product "Reveal." I have used it outside every night and several times inside during the day. No hiding @ night or fog
I bought this for my 26 year old hunting fool son for Christmas 2019. He had a Flir Scout that he wore out the charging port from so much use so I decided to try the Seek Reveal next. Definitely worth the price paid for what you get. My son says he's picked out Mountain lion perched in tall pines at over 800 yds away on a cold December night. Fantastic for watching deer at our feeding station at night when the dominant whitetail bucks miraculously appear from their daytime hiding spots. Its a great tool

Solid design.
I purchased the "Factory Demo" version, which was shipped directly from the Opticsplanet warehouse, with a two day shipping promotion as well. It arrived in the same sealed manufacturers packaging, with all the same accessories as the retail version would. All indications were that it was manufactured only 10 months earlier, and the firmware was updated to the latest before being shipped to Opticsplanet only three weeks before my purchase. The build quality exceeds my expectations, with excellent quality control being noted. Future firmware updates are an important criteria for me, and I did verify that the Seek web site currently has an area for firmware downloads. I would suggest if you want to see what this device can and cannot do, then search online for the Seek Reveal PRO. Keep in mind that this is their highest resolution model at this time, sporting 320 x 240 native resolution.
Pros:
- Compact, versitile, reasonable resolution, low motion lag, and good price/performance ratio.
Cons:
- 4 hour battery runtime, 4 hours+ to fully charge. But who does not always want more runtime.

Easy to use
I like the Hand held Seek it has the fastest renewal of the image and it is hand held so when you are tracking a wounded or downed animals you can watch the screen as well as the terrain you are traveling
