A hidden ammo gem
I have used SB 230 grain round nose ammo for quite some time now, and have always been pleased with the performance. When I saw a video online about different brands of.45 ACP ammo of which SB XRG was among those tested, I was impressed with the numbers. I purchased a few boxes of the SB XRG ammo to test against comparable brands of JHP ammo in both 165g and 230g. The SB ammo came out on top for reliable feeding, consistent accuracy, and recoil control ability on the 'follow up shot'. The XRG worked the best in my compact RIA 1911 with a 3 1/2 inch barrel. The SB XRG Defense is now my go-to carry ammunition.
The price is certainly a plus, and the package contains 25 rounds, not the usual 20 rounds from other vendors! You really can't go wrong with these.

Just had picked some up on sale to break in a new pistol at the range. Shot well, no jams or anything. Not bad at all, I will buy again.
