Most Helpful Positive Review slightly large for my face
The red sedona bi mirrored polarized lens is perfect for our area. We have large rivers and reflection from the dry desert, as well as snow in winter. When driving, reflection from light clothing is a distraction. But these glasses protect from all. They are a little large for my face but a small in this wasn't offered. I would not wear anything else! I've had this pair since 1994. The polychromatic lenses or wonderful, and the frames withstand all kinds of abuse. Sometimes true quality trumps higher price, and that is what has happened with these particular sunglasses. I don't personally think there's anything better regardless of price
Pros:
  • Almost indestructible! Very very hard lenses
Cons:
  • Bulletproof! No cons!
Best Used for:
  • Day driving

Slightly too dark at dusk and dawn

by Peteris Siltumens, from WI, United States Written on August 24, 2017
I bought these specifically for driving. They are photochromic but at dusk or dawn when driving into the sun they are too dark. In full sunlight they are great. Because they are polarized it is difficult to read the car's digital display. It depends on the angle of the sun.I have a portable Garmin GPS no problem seeing the display.
