Most Helpful Positive Review Excellent glasses
I got these for a good price. I have been using them for two weeks and love both the fit and the lenses. I got the 555nm lens which gives a greenish tinge to the world which I like a lot. My eyes feel refreshed and relaxed at the end of the day. The polarisation works a treat and the glare reduction is also superb. The construction is good and the lenses have not scratched yet despite my rough and active lifestyle. I would highly recommend these glasses and the serengeti brand in general to anybody looking for a high quality, semi-affordable alternative to Oakleys or Ray Bans. I have had both ...

Serengeti Merano 7238 polarized drivers

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on June 6, 2011
Specifically, when I purchased a pair of the Serengeti large aviators the lenses were the orange bright tint which really enhances visuals on the road and in different forms of light. Whereas this version of the Merano 7238 looks good as well, yet are too visible to other drivers. I like to keep my eyes concealed when wearing sunglasses. Besides that great pair of shades.. I would suggest the 555 polarized shades instead of these. Opticsplanet did a good job of getting my shades.
Pros: style, visibility, durable.
Cons: eyes are visible.. other drivers can see your eyes.

Serengeti makes the best sunglasses hands down. These glasses have vintage style with an updated curve. They are particularly good for those with a larger head. Visibility is fantastic!
Pros: Excellent visibility
Cons: A little pricy

Great Lenses, Hollywood Frames

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from OR, United States Written on September 23, 2009
Not sure these are the right frames for my face, but got two compliments in first week. Usually a wire-frame guy, but the tortoise shell is growing on me.
Pros: Brown Polarized Driver Lenses
Cons: Frames (Temples) a little thicker than expected
