Most Helpful Positive Review Serengeti Summit with Sedona Lens
I am a pilot, and these are perfect for flying (or driving) into the sun. They don't attenuate too much light, allow for great optical contrast, and offer good color transmission, although they do attenuate the greens slightly. Pros: Lightweight, close fit, glass lenses, great glare reduction Cons: None

Sedona Lenses

by Legacy Reviewer, from CA, United States Written on November 27, 2007
I have been a big fan of Serengeti sunglasses for awhile. These are very nice for pretty much any activity, whether you're playing sports or exercising or just lounging around. They're very comfortable. I play competitive volleyball and I have found that the Sedona lense is the best lense for any type of light conditions. Sometimes I practice or play all day, but I can see just as well in these lenses at dusk as in the bright morning sun. They adapt to all kinds of light and you never even notice! I would recommend trying them if you have a similar situation where you need vision protection that can adapt to changing conditions.

I also have a very active lifestyle, and these sunglasses are the only ones I wear anymore. They stay on through anything, are very comfy and light weight, and have by far the best lenses available, especially for active/sporty people.

GREAT Sunglasses, but....

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on July 29, 2007
Without a doubt, Serengetti Sunglasses are the best optics on the planet. Vision is better in any light, even while driving at night to reduce glare. Only problem I have is that the tip of the temples will rub the coating off the lenses in one spot when folded. Eventually this causes an area that is a different "color" from the rest of the lens, and is a distraction. None the less, Serengettis are the ONLY sunglasses I will wear.
Pros: Superior sight in any light
Cons: Temples cause wear on lens when folded

Serengeti Summit

1st pair purchased for $150 and lasted 5 years until lost in the Pacific Ocean. 2nd pair were also lost. I am on my third pair and probably won't buy a different brand unless these get discontinued. Motorcycling, snow skiing, beach volleyball, etc. These don't fall off...
Pros: great fit, light weight, stay put,
Cons: none

Great for motorcycling

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from WA, United States Written on July 26, 2007
I've tried many different sunglasses for motorcycling and these are by far the best I've found. To start with, they fit very well inside my helmet. Next, they are lightwieght. They are also a wraparound style so the peripheral vision is good for riding. I'm known to ride up to 16 hours a day and I can wear these all day long without the bridge of my nose getting sore since they are relatively light. Finally, they are photochromatic so they are useful in a wide variety of lighting conditions. I have over 30 pairs of different high end sunglasses anf thee are the ones I use the most for motorcycling with a full face helmet. The only drawback is that the outer lens scratches fairly easily so I have to be rather careful with them.
Pros: Wrap arounds that fit in my helmet well
Cons: Scratch somewhat easily

Seregenti Summit Sunglasses

by John, Verified Owner from TN, United States Written on July 25, 2007
I wear sunglasses more frequently than most people due to a eye injury that left one eye dialated.

So I've tried a lot of different, expensive sunglasses and these are the best. The Sedonna lens are great for high light conditions. They also enhance objects in cloudy conditions as well.

They are comfortable, you can wear them a very long time without nose and ear fatigue.

These are just the best sunglasses I have ever owned. I just keep buying them.
Pros: Great for on the water activities, very comfortable, good fit
Cons: None
