Now there is no excuse! - SureFire XC1 Ultra-Compact LED Handgun Light

This SureFire XC1 was purchased to ride on a Glock 19. The lights small size is a perfect fit for the G19, as if it was made specifically for it. Because of this, I see no excuse not to have it on my firearm full time. The controls are intuitive and for my hands (XL gloves), within easy reach. There are holster manufacturers that have recognized the XC1 as an outstanding choice and are making holsters to accommodate. The 200 lumen output is sufficient for pistol defensive range and the flood type beam does an excellent job of illuminating a large area which I prefer over the high output spot type beam attached to my rifle. I've read some complaints regarding the constant on switch being in a difficult location. This can be overcome by training. Another complaint was the XC1 not having a quick release to which I say "Great!" As mentioned above, it's small size and light weight lend itself to be mounted as a permanent fixture on the pistol. All said, this light is exactly what I was looking for to fit my needs. You may or may not have the same requirements.
