Meets my needs and here's why... - SureFire XC1 Ultra-Compact LED Handgun Light

The "good": Small and light with appropriate brightness. The "meh": The constant-on switch activates by pressing in from the left...to turn off, press in from the right. If you're a right-handed shooter, it will probably be a bit harder to turn the light off than on...ponder that if it's a consideration. The "bad": Fit and finish are not typical of SureFire products, although the price is. When you screw the light on, unless you have the hands of a surgeon, you're going to scratch a bit of the black finish off, revealing the shiny aluminum...have your Sharpie handy. I like this light because I have a red dot on my pistol (don't laugh, I'm old and so will you be) and if you've never noticed, powerful lights will completely wash out your dot, especially if you're shining it against a typical eggshell-white wall within your house...try it. So, I think this is a perfect package for what I need. There are several Kydex holster manufacturers that make a holster to accommodate this light and I'm sure more will follow. The reason I only gave four stars is because of the price. Hope this info helps.
