Most Helpful Positive Review Great 12 ga magazines
My Molot Vepr 12 will cycle most types of shells that I have tried! the best part is that it does not lose any reliability when using these higher capacity magazines. Almost 100% function with high brass and a little less consistent when using under-powered loads but that is pretty typical with the...

Most Helpful Negative Review Good and Bad
Original VEPR 12 magazines are hard to find and exspensive so from a price stand point these are hard to beat. Of the 2 I purchased one fed rounds well the other will feed the first 10 then the last 2 hang up. Both required extensive reshaping and material removal at the top to get them to enter an...

came with the wrong followers!!!

by Luthor, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on May 11, 2025
i ordered 3 of these from OP. all 3 came in a Saiga12 bag with a VEPR-12 sticker over it. mags are embossed with VEPR but.. all 3 have SAIGA followers installed!!! the absolute worst part is that getting in touch with SGM to get this resolved.. is impossible. they dont answer the phone, email, or social media contact attempts. i have 2 more i purchased from another place and those have the correct follower installed

cheapest option but still has to be fitted.

by Luthor, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on March 26, 2025
this is decent quality. but VEPRs are all slightly different and they will need to be fitted to the shotgun. its not hard. a file or dremmel will donthe trick. its soft plastic.

As advertised

Paid for expedited shipping got my package a little too fast ahah. Great hassle free. I'll be using this site for my gun needs for my ak shot gun and more. The mags fit snug on my RSS1 a little wiggle to get them out but works just fine. I'd love steelies but these plastic 10rd mags are pretty good quality. I'll probably have a more in-depth view of them once I out them through the ringer
Pros:
  • Moderate price
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • guns

Good magazines, may need some modification

by Beeg Yoshi, from OH, United States Written on June 11, 2020
I bought two of the 10 round magazines a few weeks ago, I've yet to try them out. Rounds load in without much issue. The magazines also fit tightly and there is no play. However, if the magazine itself isn't inserted exactly straight into the magwell the extra plastic on the magazine will make this difficult, if not impossible to insert. I'd imagine some sanding and fitment may resolve this issue so that it functions more akin to the factory magazines for the VEPR 12. The BHO function works as well. It's also worth noting that these do not have reinforced feed lips like the factory magazines, but the polymer feed lips on the SGM magazines is substantial, more so then on the factory magazines. Overall these are a great buy, especially when you consider the factory mags are 100+ on up. May purchase a few more in the future.
Pros:
  • Cheaper than factory magazines
  • Load and feed reliability
Cons:
  • Some adjustments may be required
Best Used for:
  • Range mags
