Worked as advertised
Built a PF940C on a Heavy Armor Division Slide. All the parts worked as advertised, no issue with the Channel Liner or Firing Pin Spring retainer as previously mentioned. I'd buy one again if doing another build.

NO GUIDE ROD, NO RECOIL SPRING
First time ordering any glock parts and for a first timer, I read the title which said "Completion kit" and thought this had it all just like the OEM glock Slide parts kit.
Shouldn't really be called a "completion" kit since its not complete like the OEM kits. Newbies beware

Shadow Systems Glock Gen 3/4 Slide Completion Kit w/Standard 9mm Extractor
Excellent product. I was surprised since it arrived with most of the small parts pre-assembled. My first attempt at gunsmithing was a breeze with no glitches along the way. Installed on a new Rival Arms slide to accommodate a red dot system. I did also purchase a Glock Channel Liner tool from Squirrel Daddy since most instructional videos recommended using one. Not sure I needed it as the liner slid smoothly into place on the new slide. I highly recommend.

no complaints here
Not much to say. As of now everything works well. No fitting issues. Time will only tell how they hold up. Some other pieces were not used such as the back plate because I used a custom one. Same with the extractor.

Quality parts
I purchased this kit to complete a Shadow Systems cutout slide for a Polymer 80 build. The parts all fit perfectly and installation took about 10 minutes to complete. Make sure you check your slide to see if it was shipped with the firing pin sleeve already installed (mine was), as that could be a problem if you tried to force in a 2nd one. This kit doesn't come with any instructions so using you tube is a must if you're new to this kind of an installation. A great kit with quality parts!

A bad Purchase in hindsight...
A bad Purchase in hindsight...
I Bought this kit during November of 2018 To complete a Polmer 80 G17 Build. Since then I’ve fired around 500 rounds of random factory 9mm ammo. Early on The Striker had unusual wear and burring Some on the sear face and prominent burr and amount of deformation on the machined channel for the firing pin safety plunger. Recently this started to cause the firing pin safety to catch on the front of the striker in that area and cause light strikes and failures fire. The Striker has now broken, sheering off at the tapering at the front of the striker. In hind sight this was a bad buy.

Stay away from this kit, Buy OEM glock.
Stay away from this kit, Buy OEM Glock or nothing. Couple hundred rounds through my Glock 17 and the firing pin broke. I was trying to save a few bucks and it isn't worth it. Buy what you know will hold up.

Works great. Just as advertised.
Worked just fine in my ZEV SOCOM Gen 3 G19 slide. Had no issues installing. For those mad that it didn’t include a guide rod and spring, if you read the description, it doesn’t list the guide rod and spring. Maybe next time read before you buy.

Material too soft , out of spec too
Installed in a brownell slide , having trouble since beginning, metal too soft , developed a bur where firing pin touches drop safety plunger, also cause light strike occasionally. Still working on how to solve it . I would Recommend buy oem parts instead.

polymer 80 builds
Great quality! I used this to build a polymer 80 project and worked fantastic. No hiccups or any other problem and is reliable as if it were from glock. highly recommend this upper completion kit for those of you who are into the 80 percent builds! lastly the channel liner works great! no need to buy a replacement.
