Most Helpful Negative Review Nice ergos but big miss in fit and finish
As many do, I watched a few glowing reviews and decided to buy the echelon grip with wood panels. Yes it can be tough getting cog in but I can't knock it for a good tight fit. Ergos are fantastic. Great fit with the cog, not too tight or loose. Definitely feel the weight and upgrade from a polymer frame!

changes the echelon comp into a beast

by DubleeNC, from FL, United States Written on July 5, 2025
Yea the FCU is tight...if you have half a brain you shouldnt have to worry about breaking it. Went right in for me. I have a bigger gripe about the loose magazine release. In all honesty tho i could care less. The added weight it shoots as good as my upgraded prodigy.
Pros:
  • Weight
  • Look
Cons:
  • loose magazine release

out of tolerance

by Gabriel Walker, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on May 28, 2025
Out of tolerance internal inletting causes damage to trigger shoes. Notified the company. I didn’t ask for a replacement, just notified them…and they proceeded to insult my intelligence and message me on several different platforms after blocking them.
Pros:
  • Looks good
  • wood grips
Cons:
  • Difficult to install
  • out of tolerance
  • damages trigger shoe
  • difficult to unistall
  • weak coating
Best Used for:
  • Looking cool
  • show piece
