Great chassis
Purchased this for a Ruger American Ranch in 300 Blackout and everything fits perfectly. I bought this after having many issues trying to fit another aftermarket stock. I returned the other stock and got the Sharps Bros. stock and very happy with fit, finish, and overall quality of the chassis.
i really wanna like it.
I really, really want to like this chassis. The styling is on point, the quality is great, and the functionality is awesome if not for one flaw. That’s the design of how far the tube mounting point is from the trigger. It’s so far back that it makes every buttstock I’ve tried so far unusable. With a magpul or mdt stock, fully collapsed and all spacers removed it’s still 14.5 inches of pull. The only thing I’ve found that kinda works is an adjustable ar-15 butt stock all the way in. If it weren’t for that, this would be awesome.

Ruger American Gen 2
This is my second Sharps Bros. Heatseeker chassis, and they are fantastic. It a perfect fit, and it looks amazing. I definitely recommend Sharps Bros, and would by another one when I get another rifle.

Perfrect upgrade for the Ruger American Gen II
The factory stock was OK for casual shooting, but I wanted something stiffer. Sharp Bros fit and finish are excellent, and this stock retains compatibility with standard AR mags so don't have to buy additional AICS mags when you swap.

Excellent Fix for the Ruger American Ranch Gen 2
There is really only one issue that the Ranch has and that is the flexibility of the fore end of the stock. You can 100% manage it or you can go the route of a chassis system or custom stock that suits your usage. The Heatseeker is a sleek, perfect fit for your Ranch rifle. It opens up a lot of customization options as well with a generous M-LOK fore end, buffer tube attachment for your choice of AR buttstocks and AR grips. This has given me a Ranch that is a perfect fit for me and that has the rigidity and more weight for more precision shooting. I love it.

Great product! Came in a very well packaged box with literature and hardware. Machining is very high-quality, and the handguard guard lock up is solid. Expected some wobble with the AR mags, but to my surprise, they fit well with very little movement. Would purchase again.

Great deal on last year’s model! Installation was easy, fit was perfect and it’s a huge upgrade to my Ruger American Ranch! I can’t wait to get to the range.
