Awesome barrel and customer service
This threaded Bull barrel for my Ruger 10/22 is the perfect match for the Midwest industries chassis. Installation was easy and it enhanced the overall look of my build. Had to wait about 3 months for it to come in stock but I was in no hurry. When it finally arrived, the box was torn at a corner an...

Rust Coated
The barrel arrived and it was obvious whoever packed it from Optics Planet didnt really care if it was damaged. It found its way free of the bubble wrap and just cardboard box protected it. It was wrapped it factory paper with a factory sticker with details. I unwrapped it and quickly noticed a red-...

You can feel the quality
I picked this up for my Ruger 10/22 to replace the factory barrel, and so far I’m really happy with it. Installation was straightforward and everything fit exactly like it should. The barrel feels well made and has a nice balance without adding a ton of weight.
I haven’t made it to the range yet, so I can’t comment on accuracy, but the overall quality and finish exceeded my expectations. I also really like having the threaded muzzle for the option of running a suppressor down the road. If it shoots as good as it looks and feels, I’ll be extremely happy with this purchase.

Item recieved in very dirty condition
The barrel seems fine but required a lot of cleaning when it got here. There was a build up in the barrel that probably would’ve made it unsafe to shoot in the condition that I recieved it. I probably should’ve sent it back but after a deep cleaning and soaking it in solvent I think it’ll be ok. I’ll be taking it to the range this week and im really hoping the accuracy isn’t going to be affected. We’ll see

Great barrel
I upgraded my Ruger 10/22 with this barrel to use in .22 PRS Outlaw matches.
Install was easy and fit nicely in the factory receiver. No issues. Shot really nicely at the match. Looking forward to adding a suppressor since this came threaded.
The only downside was that I ordered in April 5 but didn't arrive until June 3.
Installed on Thursday, shot the match Saturday. Approx 50 rounds to foul it before the match.

Fantastic, accurate 10/22 barrel for your build.
I've got several of these barrels. One on a Ruger Precision Rimfire bolt gun and a few on 10/21 custom build.
They all shoot really well with CCI Standard Velocity (35) .22LR ammo. They all can shoot 1/2" groups at 50yds on a bipod and bags, with an occasional flyer but I think the flyers are due to being semi-auto.
If you feed them something better, like SK Standard Plus, SK Rifle Match, or better, they shoot ragged, one hole groups.

Shaw 10/22 threaded 16” bull barrel
This is a great barrel. It took about 150 rounds through it before i started getting the accuracy I was expecting. I have shot well over 1000 rounds through it so far. Even with the cheapest bulk ammunition this thing is a tack driver.
The barrel was wrapped well from Shaw, but the box and bubble wrap packaging most definitely needs to be improved by Optics planet.

Great shooter
The 18" fluted barrel fits great and shoots like a dream. Shooting CCI and Eley, both subsonic hollow points, group under an inch at 50yds. This is a nice improvement over the factory barrel, which wasn't bad. This barrel seems less picky than factory as well. My other Ruger 10/22s have their favorite ammo for sure, with noticeable performance differences across the rimfire ammo spectrum. (They all love those Eley rounds tho) This Shaw barrel so far hasn't found anything it doesn't like. This barrel upgrade, I think, improve this rifle be one of the best shooting guns I've ever owned.
