Looks Great

I will be honest I have not yet fired my RPRR with this barrel yet do to bad weather. That being said the barrel was shipped out very quickly and was well packaged. The installation was easy and I am looking forward for a trip to the range. It’s well made and the black finish was flawless.

Definite improvement over stock barrel

Seems to like Eley target very well, closed the groups by over an inch. Would recommend as a cost effective upgrade to your RPR.

Not What I had Hoped

Possible still breaking in but after 500 rounds, not as good as the factory barrel. I will change this if it gets better.

To be or not to be...a Shaw Barrel

For some reason this is the 2nd review I have posted.
I have emailed support
I have written another review yet here is my 3rd attempt.
I have shot this barrel and for the most part it shoots ok.
The barrel itself is very nice outside and for not being a
hand lapped barrel the rifling inside looked quite nice.
However hence the original unanswered email to support...
No where on this barrel does the words SHAW, exist.
In 99% of all pictures on Optics Planet as well as the
Shaw website itself, the markings, stamp of the Shaw wording
exists however, not on the barrel I purchased.
So going off of the pictures, here and at Shaw, I cannot validate that this is
an authentic Shaw barrel as advertised.
All I expected was a general explanation, I have yet to receive this.

Shaw RPR barrel

The fit and finish on the barrel were very good. Accuracy is outstanding for a barrel in this price range. The only downside is it will not extract fired Laupa Center X cases. Everything else I have tried extracted fine.
