Plates had cuts on them.
Poor quality control. My plates have cuts on the edges that I've taped close. The carrier is small for my 6'4" frame. I'm not fat either. The comberbund rides in my armpits after letting everything out while still covering my A zone. Sure I can let it out more but then this thing wouldn't cover the ...

Good plates for the money. poor quality control.
Really cant beat 10x12 inches of coverage for less than 200 a plate. I would one day like to see shellback make a 12x14. Anyway, happy with the plates but there is a minor scratch at the bottom of one of the plates. Just eats away at my confidence in this product a little bit because now i am left to wonder where else a corner may have been cut. It may have been Shellback LLC that caused it or maybe someone at OP. Either way its unacceptable and i expect more. Contacted OP sales about getting a replacement but have not yet recived a message back. As for the plate carrier...its ehhh. It does its job, does ride a bit high and feels small but it has some pretty easily adjustable valcro to help you put the plate where you want it. Its not Shellbacks best. But i knew that coming in so i am not all that disapointed. If it werent for that tear. Youd see 5 stars.

great plate and carrier kit for a great cost
This is a great budget option for people looking to protect themselves if/when SHTF. The 2 plates are rebranded RMA 1155 plates which have been proven to far exceed the level 4 rating, so that’s nothing to worry about. The Carrier is comfortable for what it is, it does seem small right out of the box but the cummerbund and shoulder straps are adjustable, this can fit many shapes and sizes. I’m 5’10, 215, and very muscular, this fits just fine with plenty of room to spare even if you’re a bit husky (I do recommend you get in shape though). The plates are 8lbs each, and will fatigue you over time so definitely wear it often and train with it. Build those abdominal and lower back muscles and you’ll be good. This is by far the best bang for buck body armor and plate carrier I’ve seen, and I would recommend this to anybody

Great Fit and Value
I struggled with this purchase originally as I am extremely short (5’2”) and stocky, after doing a ton of research, considered lower prices, higher prices, concealed or not, After going back and fourth for a few days I bit the bullet and ordered, by far the quickest shipping, I placed a regular order and saw it next day more or less. The fit is exactly what I needed, and it’s super comfortable, only downside is the pouches in the cumberbund are more or less useless aside from the furthest forward as they are not easily accessible. 10/10 product though, will buy a second one for my wife as well at some point

Great value
This is an excellent Value armor setup, the plates you get are RMA 1155 ceramic/poly, they are heavy at 8.4lb each but the carrier distributes the weight pretty well. The plates are a standard shooters cut 10x12. The carrier is made in China, but seems to be fairly well made. The cumberband has built in mag pouces, but you will likely have trouble reaching them. Overall i am happy with the product.

Great Plate Carrier
I’m 5’8” and 210 lbs. I’m currently in the infantry and was looking for an overt carrier for some work on the side. It’s perfect. My shoulders are broad, but the 10” x 12” plates still cover all vital organs. Great product.
