Shellback is known for being 100% made in the USA. You can easily look up where their products are made online. This vest is small compared to a U.S. large, it is more like a teenagers large. The material seems thin, and I am not going to test it with my real military issue plates because I do not want the stitching to break or the cloth to rip first day out. Optics Planet had no problem sending me a return label which is great but the lady on the phone said they get the plate carriers straight from the vendor. I find this to be a false statement but I do not work there so I can not prove it. Please take this as a warning to stay away from a most likely falsely advertised product.
