Not authentic - Shellback Tactical Shield Plate Carrier

Shellback Tactical claims that their products are %100 made in the USA. This product is made in China. For those of you that have not found the label... flip open your plate carrier compartment flaps and take a look inside. If you search, where is Shellback made, on your phone or computer, you will find that everything pertaining to Shellback states, it is made in the USA with no indication that they outsource any of their products. For this simple fact I am stating that this is a fake/knockoff/not an authentic product.

For those that do not care... the product itself is weak, flimsy, cheap, and small compared to U.S. sizes. The canvas is not thick like it should be and the stitching seems to be thin. Yes it looks nice and would probably hold up for a couple of weeks, but I will not be utilizing this for my overseas endeavors. If you are going to be one of those weird people that paintball with a plate carrier or do some other activity using a plate carrier when it is completely unnecessary then this would work for you.

In conclusion... if you are a real militant please do not risk your life with this plate carrier. If you endeavor in childs-play as an adult without having your own children and you still live at home with your parents while in your late twenties or older, then by all means, take the chance.
