LowJax's Review of Shepherd Scopes Rogue Series 6-24x50 Rifle Scope, 30mm Tube, SFP
I purchased this scope for a 6.5 Grendel build and selected the combo version.
I already had several other brands of scopes at the 6-24x50 ($400-$600) size and while they are good to excellent, this price point for the Shepard Rogue beat them hands down.
Outstanding glass from 6 to 24x. No issues.
Eye relief - difficult to measure by myself; as the magnification goes up, I did have to move closer.
See through lens caps are amber and allow target acquisition with some clarity issues; snap closed securely and open distinctly. Tight on the scope.
Weight - a touch heavy when added to my 20in 6.5 Grendel. Not a surprise.
Turret adjustment - 1/8 moa. Just remember it is not 1/4. I made that mistake.
In all, I Likes.
