The BTS-14 will exceed all expectations , light transmission is better than scopes costing double .
Extremely rugged, well made in the USA. Glass extremely sharp , 100% light transmission NO shading! Generous eye relief and with the back of the charging handle as the rear of the scope I used ADM AD Recon-X-34STDTL ;Also purchased from Optics Planet, because the windage knobs place it at the beginning of the hand guard. Very pleased with both purchases.
