Took them straight to the range when I recieved them. Shot 200 rds per mag without any malfunctions. I have 3 other sheild arms gen 3 mags with over 1000 rds each also with zero malfunctions. I have had great results with these mags.
Cons:
- You have to instal mag release but it is not difficult

I have an older Glock 43x, and a Newer Glock 43x MOS, I have pu4chased and installed these Shueld Arms magazine releases and purchased the S15 magazines for these firearms. I am a Sgt. for Federal LEO, My fellow officers have also purchased these for their Glock 43x's. They are hands down the best!!

Bottom line review goes as this: Would I buy the Shield mags again? NO.
Cons: They don't seat in the pistol as firmly/snappy as stock
I had multiple jams with FMJ ammo which could be from the ammo.
Pros: Nice to have 15 rounds
I fired approximately 150 FMJ rounds and no self defence rounds at the range and had four jams.
So the Shield mags and steel mag release button will sit in a supply drawer till needed and I purchased two more stock mags.
If I need a higher capacity of rounds I will simply carry a G26.
Cons:
- FMJ jams & does't seat as good as stock

Good for increasing mag capacity in your G43X. Work well and easy to change out the mag release.

Thank you Optics Planet for excellent service. My Glock 43x has now improved by 89% since I feel more comfortable with these magazines.

I have never had success with aftermarket mags in a Glock until now. Not even with Magpuls. These mags look and function great. They even come with lifetime warranty on the springs!

These mags are great, works perfectly. Comes with everything, needed so the mags work. Only downside is factory mags will not drop free. The new mags do. Will work with flared mag well. If you want high capacity mags this is the way to go. You do have to change mag release with can be tricky
Best Used for:
- High cap capability in concealed carry

I am working with the company now to hopefully correct the issue. Perhaps I received a bad batch of these mags. 3rd or 4th round fails to feed in my Glock43x. The open window design needs to be a notch like Glock and PSA magazines. The open window allows the spring to get caught on the mag release. Hopefully, Shield Arms will correct that design flaw on the generation 4 mags.
