Recently got a G48, this is the best option for a dot on the setup and it’s performed very well!

Got the 4mil dot for a Glock 48. So far so good, ran about 300 rounds to sight in at 25 yards. Went well did add a touch of blue lock tight since the screws did loosen. Second reflex sight other is for a full size pistol. Have a stigmatism and was concerned about starburst but it's not noticeable. Overall very pleased

Fits nice. Low profile. Seems to line up. I haven't had the chance to shot it to check the accuracy out the box.

Love the sight so far. Fit perfect on the MOS, no adapter plate needed. Only gripe is that the lense had a scuff dead center out of the box. Not sure if it was a blem and that's why it was such a good deal, but that wasn't noted in the description. But it didn't effect the function of the sight.

Bought is sight for my Glock 43x MOS, couldn’t be happier, fits perfectly and allows for co-witness with factory night sights.

had it for a few weeks and put 500 rounds through my g43x with the shield sight and dang.. i like it a lot.
i wanted to buy it for a couple reasons
it’s the dot the slide was cut for
and it’s THE slimmest and most sleek dot out there and majority of that is because it has no buttons and is auto adjust only
A LOT of online reviewers despised this and said it was its only downfall
i purchased it to develop my own opinion and im truly satisfied
i own 2 RMR’s as a reference of experience with dots and i have to say the dot auto adjusts WAY better than the reviewers say and if your sights lower 1/3 cowitness like the 43x’s then it’s a perfect set up
auto adjust obviously sucks in extreme environments like if your in a dark room aiming at a white wall
at night it works fine as well
the dot is illuminated enough to see and it’s definitely better than not seeing the sights at all!!
i pair it with the surefire xsc and it’s a slick set up
i ran endless drills and the dot performed exceptionally well and i was able to mag dump at 10 yards away with an extremely tight shot group
shooting at 30 is so easy and follow up shots are QUICK.

When I received the product it was obviously sold before and returned because it did not come with instructions and the zero was way off. When watching videos on line reviewers talked about how “out of the box” it was zeroed. It took some work at the range to get it zeroed. It was for my son and although I wanted to return it he wanted to keep it and he ended up liking it on his Glock. Also, I have concerns of striping the retention screws trying to revmove it when the time comes to change the battery since in the on line instructions I found (since again, no instructions came with the product) multiple people recommended using loctite so it does not come loose when firing the weapon. I would give serious consideration to purchasing instead the new Holsun where you can change the battery from the side without need to alter or remove the sight, so it stays zeroed. Also, if purchasing on line make sure to check it has not been opened before. I give Optics Planet a thumbs down, since they either did not check the returned product before reselling it, or they checked it and resent it out knowing it was incomplete.

Bought the shield as I wanted to be able to cowitness with my hellcat. I chose the glass addition 4 moa. It was super easy to install and zeroing took around 20 rounds at most. For the price I was able to get it for it was a no brainer. I know some people want to be able to adjust themselves but I have astigmatism in both eyes and the auto bright was perfect for me. Dry fire indoor and outdoor range no trouble at all.
